Art expo at Vagator

'Gajvikrti' a solo art exhibition by Goan artist, Damodar Madgaokar, will be opened at Ujwal Art Gallery in Vagator on December 13.
Madgaokar will exhibit 33 paintings that portray a unique theme “ elephants and the emotions of the magnificent animal.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by Calangute MLA Michael Lobo at 11 am and will be open for public viewing till January 6, 2016 from 9 am to 9 pm.
This is second solo exhibition by Madgaokar, who has been awarded the State Art Award in 2014-2015.
A resident of Ucassaim-Paliem in Bardez, Madgaokar has participated in over a dozen group exhibitions across the country, including a show in Colombo.
