Assault at Alorna, two held
PERNEM: Pernem Police arrested two persons from Alorna-Pernem on charges of assaulting three family members at Alorna.
According to Pernem Police, Gurudas Parab of Pernem complained that the accused, Ranjit Parab, Satyajeet Parab and another person, all from Alorna-Pernem, abused him, his wife Gayatri and his mother Kashibai at Alorna on Thursday evening.
The complainant further stated that the accused assaulted them with stones, causing them simple injuries, damaged roof tiles of his house and also threatened them with dire consequences, over a property dispute.
Police said the accused, Ranjit Parab and Satyajeet Parab have been arrested under Sections 324, 504, 506 II, 427 r/w 34 IPC. Police is investigating the case.
