Meditation workshop held
BICHOLIM: The Swayambhu Sahityik and Sanskritik Mandal Ummid old-age centre in Bicholim organised a meditation workshop in Radhanagar-Bicholim.
Former Bicholim MLA Rajesh Patnekar was the resource person at the programme and in his address, opined that people are in a hurry to reach their goals and dreams.
“People have become materialistic and as a result, stress and illness have become a by-product of today’s busy schedule and stressful life. Learning meditation has therefore become the need of the hour,” he said.
Swayambhu Club president Sanjeev Assagonakar and headmaster Devanand Golam were also present at the camp.
