Assault plaint against govt servant
MAPUSA: Mapusa Police registered an offence against a government servant in Corjuem, who has been accused of assault and outraging the modesty of a woman.
According to the complainant, the accused, one Alka Pole, who is a plumber with the PWD abused her and her son on Thursday noon and assaulted them with punches and used a hacksaw-blade causing injuries thereby outraging her modesty.
An offence under section 504, 324, 354, 354-A and 509 under IPC was registered against the alleged accused. Police are yet to arrest the accused and Mapusa Police is investigating the case.
