The Additional Sessions Court has reserved its order on the bail applications filed by brothers Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra in an alleged document forgery case. The order will be pronounced on April 8. Defence counsel for the Luthra brothers said arguments on the bail pleas concluded on Monday, after which the court reserved its decision.
The case involves allegations of forgery and use of fake documents. Sources said both the prosecution and defence presented detailed arguments. The defence sought bail on grounds not yet disclosed, while the prosecution opposed the pleas, citing the seriousness of the charges.
The Luthra brothers had earlier approached the Sessions Court seeking bail after being named in the case, which has drawn attention due to the nature of the allegations. Although they were granted bail last week in the main Birch by Romeo Lane fire case, they remain in custody in connection with the separate forgery case.
