Bed capacity of South Goa District hospital to be increased by 200 beds: Vishwajit

Health Minister Vishwajit Rane announced the intention of his department to further enhance the bed capacity of the South Goa District Hospital by another 200 beds. 

Rane was speaking at the launch of the “Home Isolation Monitoring Kit” in Panaji. He said that around 3,500 patients who are under home isolation stand to benefit from this initiative.

“As of today around 750 patients are taking treatment at Covid Hospitals, around 600 are housed at Covid Care Centres while around 3500 are under home isolation,” he stated while adding that Goa Electronics Ltd has been roped in to digitize the records of all home isolating patients.
