Bicholim to mark Anant Chaturdashi
BICHOLIM: A large number of devotees have been thronging to pay homage to Ganesh idols installed by different Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav mandals in Bicholim and by Bicholim Police at Bicholim Police station.
Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav mandals at Bicholim and Karapur have organised different religious and cultural programmes to mark the celebration. Both the Ganesh idols will be immersed on the day of Anant Chaturdashi on Thursday. The Ganesh idol worshiped by Mahamaya Kalika Sansthan Kasarpal Bicholim will also be immersed on the day of Anant Chaturdashi.
Bicholim Police have also installed the Ganesh idol at the new police station premises in Bicholim. This Ganesh idol will be immersed on the 11th day, which coincides with Anant Chaturdashi.
