Bicholim water supply restored
BICHOLIM: The PWD on Monday repaired the ruptured main water pipeline at Mulgao-Bicholim, giving residents major relief from water shortage they experienced over the last two days.
It may be recalled that most areas in Bicholim were facing an acute water shortage since Sunday afternoon. However, the PWD could not locate the ruptured water pipeline on Sunday.
The PWD on Monday found that the main water pipeline of Padocem water treatment plant was damaged at Mulgao by some workers, leading to water shortage and wastage of water. The PWD repaired the water pipeline and restored the water supply.
