Bimba awards conferred
AGASSAIM: Intellectual Dr Ganesh Devi has asked the writers and actors to come together to preserve unity, diversity and tolerance of the country.
Devi was speaking as the chief guest during Bimba Literary Awards function at Agassaim. Datta Damodar Naik, Suresh Amonkar and other Bimba awards winners were present on the occasion.
Dr Devi presented Bimba Literary awards to Datta Damodar Naik (Ravindra Kelekar Memorial Award), Rupa Kosambe (AN Mahambre Memorial Award), Asha Shanbag (Chandrakant Keni Memorial Award), Arun Kakodkar (Vijaybab Sarmalkar Memorial Award), Sunil Palkar (Dr RV Pandit Award), Gajanan Jog (Shankar Bhandari Award) and Melvin Rodrigues (Pandurang Bhangi Award).
Senior writer Uday Bhembre was felicitated on the occasion. Datta Damodar Naik also spoke on the occasion.
