Corporate Manager Rajiv Modak and Operations Manager Bijay Kumar Singh of Birch by Romeo Lane have been granted bail by a Mapusa court in connection with the devastating fire incident of December 6, 2025, which claimed 25 lives.

With this development, Modak and Singh are the last among the accused to secure bail in the case that sent shockwaves across the State and raised serious concerns over fire safety compliance in commercial establishments.

Earlier, the owners of the establishment, the Luthra brothers, were also granted bail after being arrested in connection with the case.

Authorities had booked multiple individuals linked to the management and operations of the nightclub as part of a wider probe into accountability and negligence.

The case has since been under close scrutiny, with police examining compliance records, safety audits, and the sequence of events leading up to the fire. Statements from staff, survivors, and officials have formed a crucial part of the ongoing proceedings.

The grant of bail to the remaining accused marks a significant stage in the legal process, although the trial and investigation into the incident are expected to continue.
