State BJP President Damu Naik on Sunday assured Sant Haralaya Chambar Samaj that their long-pending demand for a community bhavan will be realised at the earliest.
Speaking at a programme organised by the Sant Haralaya Chambar community at the Ravindra Bhavan, Margao on Sunday, Damu exuded confidence that the bhavan will be inaugurated during his current tenure as BJP president.
Responding to the demand made by community for a bhavan in Margao, Damu backed the demand and exuded confidence of the project becoming a reality at the earliest. The BJP State president urged members of the Samaj to stress on education for their youth, saying education will take the younger generation to great heights.
Addressing the program, BJP leader and ex-deputy Chief Minister Manohar Ajgaonkar thanked the Samaj for supporting him in his journey over the years. “Work and only work matters in politics and not the labels of political parties. I have got elected from Dhargal from different parties and people had elected me because of my hard work”, he added.
