With just eight days to go for the polls, the campaign trails of political parties will see top leaders landing on Goan soil, but Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hit battleground Goa on Sunday, February 6, by addressing thousands of people and BJP karyakartas across 20 Assembly constituencies in North Goa through a virtual rally.
The rally will be broadcast on LED screens at locations identified in each of the 20 constituencies. Approximately 500 attendees at each location besides BJP’s Central and Goa leaders will be a part of the rally.
In Chief Minister Pramod Sawnat’s constituency, Sanquelim, election in-charge Devendra Fadnavis, desk in-charge C T Ravi, State President Sadanand Shet Tanavade and Sawant himself will be present at the virtual rally along with many party supporters.
The BJP has made all the arrangements keeping in mind guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India (ECI). All Covid-appropriative behaviour will be followed.
BJP has further set up facilities at identified locations in other constituencies - Mandrem, Pernem, Bicholim, Tivim, Mapusa, Siolim, Saligao, Calangute, Porvorim, Aldona, Panaji, Taleigao, St Cruz, St Andre, Cumbarjua, Mayem, Poriem, Valpoi and Priol.
The BJP which has a massive digital footprint will use all its platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc to reach to people across Goa and the nation.
