BJP Curtorim Mandal celebrated Van Mahotsav with a tree-plantation and Cleanliness drive at the famous Raitolem in Curtorim and Manora Ground, Raia as a tribute to great leader Syama Prasad Mukherjee.The drive was organised in the presence of Anthony Barbosa BJP ST Morcha South Goa Vice President, Dr Sneha Bhagwat General Secretary Curtorim Mandal, Nilkant Ekawade President Curtorim BJP Mandal, Somnath Amonkar senior leader of BJP Curtorim, Babita Borkar Mahila Mandal General secretary, Jayesh Naik Vice President Curtorim BJP, Chandan Naik Curtorom Prabhari, Vincy Quadros and others.
At Manora Ground, two senior citizens Manora Antonio Barbosa and Bento Barbosa planted the trees.
Anthony Barbosa paid rich tribute to Syama Prasad Mukherjee on this occasion. Anthony Barbosa further congratulated Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on the completion of 100 days of the government.
"Pramod is a people-friendly CM and easily approachable to all sections of society," said Barbosa and further stated that the CM has taken bold steps in his second stint in office to usher development of the State.
