The BJP has condemned the reported disparaging remarks made by the All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader against the scheduled caste community.
A memorandum was submitted to the South Goa Additional district Collector Surendra Naik by party South Goa district vice-president Deepak Borkar in the presence of party leaders Rupesh Naik and Satyavijai Naik.
“The TMC leader’s shocking statement with the intention to humiliate the entire SC population of West Bengal is condemnable and amounts to promoting feelings of enmity, hatred and ill will against the members of the scheduled castes community in West Bengal,” the memorandum stated, while calling for strict action in the matter.
