While gearing up for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, the BJP Goa Unit will simultaneously hold a special month-long drive titled ‘Maha Sampark Abhiyan’ to celebrate nine years of Central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The resolution was taken at a State Executive Meeting that saw Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, ministers, leaders and office bearers discussing the itinerary for the event that will commence on May 30 till June 30.
“We will hold various meetings with the people, reach out to every individual and hear their grievances, etc as well as create awareness on the schemes introduced during the rule under Modi,” a senior leader said.
The drive comes amid preparations for the parliamentary polls with, in the past too, the party holding similar drives to disburse works carried out by Modi-government.
State party president Sadanand Shet Tanavade on being asked about the 2024 preparations said the party will win both the seats this time.
