BJP women hail move to subsidise onions

The women’s wing of BJP on Saturday welcomed the government’s decision to provide onions at subsidized rates and hoped that within two-three days these will reach the people.

“We welcomed the cabinet decision to supply onions at a discounted rate,” said Sulekha Shetye, state executive member of BJP Mahila Morcha. The women’s wing also congratulated the government for its cabinet decision to give relaxation for submission of life certificate and income certificate for Griha Aadhaar and other social schemes.

Sheetal Naik president of Mahila Morcha said that K Kasturirangan headed committee report giving number one position for Goa for best governance amongst small states is a pride for the State.

“We congratulate CM for the Atmanirbhar Bharat Swayampurna Goa. It will benefit all people,” added Naik.
