PANAJI: After the BJP own MLA Atanasio Monserratte critisised its own government over implementation of Smart city project in capital city terming it as 'scam', Chief Minister Pramod Sawant assured in the House that the special purpose vehicle Imagine Panaji Smart City Development Limited (IPSCDL) will be reconstituted with inclusion of local MLA and Mayor of corporation of City of Panaji in this Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV).
Chief Minister was forced to assure that all development works will be done after consultation with MLA under smart city project.
While criticizing government on Smart city project Panaji MLA Atanasio Monserratte said that smart city is a fraud as far as people of Panaji are concerned.
He alleged that some bureaucrats are doing works of Smart City without transparency and demanded that the CEO of the SPV should be sacked.
