PANAJIrrNational spokesperson of Sanatan Saunstha Chetan Rajhauns applauded the swift action by Goa Police in arresting the culprit. “Government machinery sprung into action only after the Archbishop of Goa, Daman and Diu condemned the incidents. Minority MLAs such as Michael Lobo and Nilesh Cabral and many anti-Hindu organizations attempted to vitiate the atmosphere. The police probe needs to check the links between this accused and certain minority sects,” Rajhauns stated. rIt was also informed that Sanatan Saunstha has lodged a complaint at Ponda police station against Goa Citizen Action Forum for allegedly defaming the right-wing organization by accusing it of hatching a conspiracy to vandalise the religious symbols for disturbing the peace and harmony in Goa. r“The government acts only when injustice is done to the minorities,” Ranjauns alleged. rPravin Assolkar of Swarajya Sangathana and Jayesh Thali of HJS have demanded action against all minority elements who tried to place the guilt of these incidents on the Hindu community. Blamed earlier, Hindu groups now demand apology
Hindutva organizations including Sanatan Saunstha, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Swarajya Sangathana have demanded a public apology from social activists, politicians, organizations and religious leaders for wrongly holding the Hindu community responsible for the recent desecrations of religious structures in South Goa.
