Briefing the media, Mickky said though he is not against road blockade, such blockades is not a solution to the problem facing the people and motorists.
“After the tragic accident on the Verna bypass which claimed two lives, I immediately called up Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar and other senior PWD officials, who have assured to take necessary action on the question of erecting the speed breakers,” he said.
Saying that road blockade is not a solution to the problem, the outgoing Nuvem MLA said that such action only affects the public at large, including office goers and even patients being transported to hospitals.
