The body has been sent for post mortem to the Goa Medical College and Hospital for post mortem.
The deceased Arjun Kumar along with his relative had visited small Vagator on Sunday.
The two ventured into the rocky area along the beach and went into a selfie clicking spree.
Despite being warned by a lifeguard on duty, the duo went near the rocks and later both were dragged into the sea by a huge wave.
The lifeguard managed to save one of them but the deceased went missing and had been feared drowned.
