Breather for students: GCET postponed to June 27, 28

PANAJI

The Directorate of Technical Education has postponed the Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) to June 27 and 28, a public notice issued on Wednesday said.

The entrance exam, scores of which determine the merit for admissions to engineering and other technical professional courses in the State, was previously slated to be held on May 11 and 12.

The postponement by more than a month has come as a sigh of relief for students enrolled for the HSSC examination conducted by the Central boards, sources said as the earlier May 11 schedule clashed with their class XII examination.

Details of registering for GCET will be uploaded in due course.
