Tulshidas Naik, South Goa BJP President and Sancoale panch member has alleged that the people of the Sancoale panchayat are involved in the attack on his brother RTI activist Narayan Naik on Saturday afternoon.

Naik has said that he has evidence and that will soon expose the person behind the attack.

“Many people feel that this could be the repercussions of various issues taken by Narayan Naik in recent time. I feel that this is a well organised pre-planned attack that was done because the issues taken by Narayan Naik could lead to exposing of illegalities happening in the Sancoale panchayat jurisdiction. I feel that the people of the Sancoale panchayat are involved in this attack and I have the evidence to back my statement. Very shortly the person involved in this attack will be exposed,” said Naik.

Naik added that his brother had received head injuries but his leg was completely damaged in the incident. “He is out of danger now and we have already filed a police complaint and the police have taken his statement. As of now he has got 8 to 9 stitches on his head but his leg is totally broken and his knee has been damaged badly. Whoever is behind the attack will be exposed soon,” Naik added.
