The burglars effected entry into the house, but could not lay their hands on anything,” PI Patil said. rWhile questions are being raised in the city as to how the burglars are back at Borda to successfully enter the PWD quarters for the second time in less than a month, PI Patil further said the police would re-start nakabandi in the city after police personnel were diverted to be deployed on the highway in the wake of the desecration of religious structures. “Only today, the Margao police has received an additional 24 personnel who will be deployed across the city to man the nakabandi points,” Patil said.
