Burglers broke open the accounts section of the Goa Medical College at Bambolim on the intervening night of Tuesday and decamped with cash amounting to Rs 6 lakh.
According to Agassaim police, GMC's Joint Director of Accounts Sunit Marathe, in her complaint stated that unknown person/s broke open the main gate of the office and thereafter ransacked the office.
They broke open one suitcase, cupboard, cash box and lockers, decamping with cash amounting to Rs 6 lakh.
According to Agassaim PSI Ashish Parab, police have conducted a site panchanama and further investigations are on.
