Calangute Police apprehended one pimp and rescued two women in a prostitution raid on Friday night.
The accused, Firoz Khan, a resident of Delhi, has been remanded to three days police custody for allegedly being involved in flesh trade.
Acting on a tip-off, Calangute PI Nolasco Raposo along with a police team laid in wait near the Dolphin Circle, Calangute, late Friday night.
Police nabbed the pimp who arrived in a car along with the two women with the intention to deliver them to prospective customers.
The women were rescued and lodged in the state protective home while the car involved in the crime has been attached.
