CANACONA:
A resident of Kindlebag-Tarir in Canacona ended his life at his home on Wednesday evening.
Canacona police informed that Sunil Pagi was found dead in his bedroom after locking himself inside the room at about 7 pm on Wednesday.
Pagi was taken to the Canacona Community Health Centre (CHC) in an unconscious state and a doctor on duty pronounced him brought dead at the hospital. The police was then notified.
Police later conducted the panchnama of the scene and also recorded the statements of family members as part of the investigation.
The body has been sent to the South Goa District Hospital, Margao for medico-legal formalities and Canacona PSI Babu D Dessai is conducting investigations.
