Canacona student wins state level drawing competition
Varad Prashant Pagi, a Std 4 student of Government Primary School (GPS), Saleri-Khola, won the first prize in the State-level drawing competition conducted by the State Council of Educational Research & Training (SCERT).

The award was recently given to Pagi by SCERT Director N G Honnekeri at the State Level National Science Day and prize distribution function at District Institute of Education & Training, Alto-Porvorim.
The function was organised to pay rich tributes to the great achievements of Dr C V Raman in Science. Varad attended the function with his parents and a school teacher along with other prize winning students.
Dinesh Bandodkar has been elected as the President of the Socio Cultural Club of Loutolim for a period of three years.
