Canacona TCP dept files hill-cutting plaint

Deputy Town Planner of Canacona has complained against unidentified persons for illegal hill cutting and extraction of soil at Agonda on Monday.

As per the complaint lodged by Deputy Town Planner, TCP Department, Canacona, Manguirish N Vernekar, some person/s were involved in hill cutting and extraction of soil without obtaining valid permission from the department concerned at Agonda (Pasugal) Canacona on March 17.

Acting on the complaint, Canacona Police registered an offence under 17-A of TCP Act and PSI Remedious D’Souza is investigating the case under the supervision of PI Philomeno Costa.
