Vast said road widening, levelling and cleaning of roadside was done in his ward with the help of an earth mover machine. “An earth mover company had offered three days demonstration in Ward 13 for the purpose of cleaning dumped mud and road widening works,” he said.
“For the entire three days, we collected and shifted roadside garbage, cleared weeds, levelled the road with the help of the earth mover,” said Vast.
“The private earth movers company had offered its machinery to CCMC for demo purpose. Therefore, I felt like utilising this opportunity to undertake road widening and cleaning work,” he added.
