Cheating case filed at Colva

MARGAO: Colva police has registered an offence under section 420 of the IPC against unknown

persons for fraudulently withdrawing cash amounting to Rs 35,000 from ATM at Marthali-

Bangalore.

Colva police said that one Pradeep Kumar, who was staying in a hotel at NagwadoÂ-Betalbatim

complained that unknown persons fraudulently used his HDFC debit card and withdrew cash of

Rs 35,000 from his account from an ATM at Bangalore thus cheating him to the tune of Rs 35,000.

Police are investigating the case.
