A man from Chhattisgarh was arrested on charges of possessing drugs worth Rs 49,000 at Arambol on Saturday.
A team led by PSI Vivek Halarnkar and PSI Harish Vaigankar conducted a raid at Sokoilo Wado in Arambol and arrested Ahsan Rehman Khan (28) while seizing narcotic drugs suspected to be Charas weighing 49.3 grams worth Rs 49,000.
The accused has been arrested and further investigation is in progress under the supervision of Pernem PI Dattaram Raut, SDPO Pernem Sidhant Shirodkar and overall supervision of North SP Shobit Saxena.
