Chimbel PHC Medical Officer Dr Jude D’Souza rejoined duty on Monday after recovering from Covid.
Dr D’Souza was given was given a warm welcome by the staff of the PHC at Bambolim, where the health centre is located.
Speaking to The Goan, Dr D’Souza expressed happiness over the declining Covid cases in Chimbel, particularly in the Indira Nagar locality.
“The combined efforts by health officials, staff, police and others helped in tackling the situation in Chimbel. Now, the focus will be on other villages where Covid cases are rising,” he added.
