Christmas held at Mastimoll convent
CANACONA: A special Christmas programme was organised by the Sisters of Nirmala Convent at Nirmala Convent, Mastimoll.
A live crib of children of Nursery, KG-I and KG-II depicted Joseph and Mary, shepherds and angels with Baby Jesus, as other students with their teachers prayed and sang Christmas carols.
With their respective teachers leading, each of the class students then held special prayers and sang Christmas carols. Santa Claus also made his appearance and distributed sweets.
Prizes and awards for various sports and cultural activities were distributed by Santa Claus. Sr Maria, the head of the institution, later proposed the vote of thanks.
