Trinamool Congress Benaulim MLA Churchill Alemao has served a legal notice on Aam Aadmi Party Benaulim candidate Wenzy Viegas, threatening to file civil and criminal cases if he does not tender an unconditional apology within 48 hours.
Claiming that Wenzy had allegedly made false and derogatory remarks against him by alleging that he had taken Rs 50 crore to join the Trinamool Congress, Churchill in his notice further demanded that Wenzy remove the defamatory content from the official social media platform of the Aam Aadmi party and to forthwith desist from making similar statements.
