CLAPS student get overnight camp experience at Bondla
Students from Panaji, Vasco, Ponda, Margao and Porvorim centres took part

Club Leadership And Personality for Students (CLAPS) India organised an all-Goa overnight ‘Champions at Bondla’ leadership camp in association with Live Life India.
School students from standards V to X from 23 schools from Panaji, Vasco, Ponda, Margao and Porvorim attended the two-day programme.
The camp was aimed at developing leadership skills and enhancing teamwork in the young school members. The camp also sought to upgrade the levels of individual confidence by providing opportunities to interact and co-ordinate with students from different schools. The programme also focused on developing greater awareness on environment issues and tap creativity, experience the spirit of teamwork and be practically tuned to leadership skills in a natural ambience..
The event was inaugurated by the camp head, Krupa, along with the chairperson of Live Life India Kiran Chari Shah.
In her address Kiran Chari-Shah urged the young students to involve, use their creativity and talent to create an impact. Krupa, the camp-head, in her inaugural address, encouraged each student to believe that they were unique & needed to take further initiative and use their potential.
The camp involved contests between 8 teams in various events. The events included leadership games co-ordinated by Nandish Wagle and Dattaprasad Naik, team presentations with creative skits co-ordinated by Ketan Naik and Kirti Prabhu and the night trek by Alok Fadte. The event also included an early morning environment walk by Cassandra Fernandes, Zumba session by Lyssandra Fernandes, etc. The camp also involved a visit to the zoo.
The CLAPS overnight camp ended with a closing ceremony with certificates presented to each participant by Krupa and the faculty members. Team prizes were also presented for displaying positive leadership skills and teamskills.
The programme was coordinated by 12 faculty members.
