Cleanliness drive by Gulem students
VALPOI: Students of Government High School, Morlem-Sattari, in Gullem village undertook a cleanliness drive, as part of the Swacha Bharat Abhiyan.
The Headmistress, Laxmi V Sukhathankar guided the students along with PTA chairman Ramkrishna V Gawas.
The students cleaned the surroundings by removing weeds, cleaning tiles and other works. They also collected plastic bags, paper bags and chocolate wrappers from the roadside at Gullem. They also cleaned the surrounding area of Baravansh Devasthan at Gullem.
Senior teachers Zilu Gaonkar, Vakoba Bokade, Devraj Tari and Jaykrishna Veluskar supervised the drive and spoke on the importance of Swacha Bharat Abhiyan.
