Even as the kiosks outside the GMC were demolished in apparent haste by authorities, the place has now become a parking lot for four-wheelers.
Highlighting the issue during their meeting with St Cruz MLA Tony Fernandes, some vendors pointed out that four-wheelers are now parked on both sides of the roads, thereby restricting the smooth flow of traffic.
“On one instance, an ambulance was stuck for nearly 15 minutes due to traffic jam,” a vendor informed and claimed that such things never used to happen when they were conducting their business.
