Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party leader Sudin Dhavalikar on Monday asserted that the party will not have any tie-up, including the Congress if the national party inducts the party-fold politicians with aya ram, gaya ram background.
Ruling out the possibility of entering into an alliance with its old partner BJP giving the party’s track record on indulging in aya ram, gaya ram politics, Dhavalikar said that the regional party has not held discussions with the Aam Aadmi Party till date.
“This time round, the MGP will not align with any party which has been supporting the aya ram, gaya ram politics. Even if the Congress takes back the aya ram, gaya ram politicians, the MGP will not have any truck with the Principal national party,” he asserted, while saying the party is open in having alliances with parties which has a clean record.
To a question on Ponda constituency, Dhavlikar said that MGP leader Dr Ketan Bhattikar should be the party candidate in the 2022 Assembly election for the Ponda seat.
