CM’s Canacona visit begins today

Eyeing upcoming Lok Sabha polls, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar will begin state-wide visits with Canacona constituency on Saturday.
The day-long programme, chalked out by the State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), will witness Parrikar interacting with Party workers across the constituency.
However, the Chief Minister will attend an official interaction with all the elected representatives including Canacona MLA Isidore Fernandes along with officials of various departments over developmental works in t
he constituency.
Speaking to media persons about his day-long visit, Parrikar said, "It is a programme chalked out by our Party. Various programmes have been scheduled by the Party across the Constituency where I will meet the Party workers."
"Elections happen in our country every year. So this is a preparation for the election coming up next. All political setups have to prepare for elections", said Parrikar.
During the visit, Parrikar is also scheduled to open a Party office at Chaudi and address and public meeting.
