CM attends Punyatithi Mahotsav
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and Partagal Mutt Chairman Shrinivas Dempo during the second day of the Punyatithi Mahotsav at Partagal Mutt.

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant attended the second day of the 3-day Punyatithi Mahotsav of Shri H H Shree Vidhyadhiraj Tirth Swami Shripad Vader and sought the blessings of Shreemad Vidyadheesh Teerth Swami on Saturday.
The second day began with the Nirmalya Visarjana at 5.30 am, while the Swami Vidhyadhiraj Bhawan was inaugurated by H H Vidhyadeesh Teerth Swamiji in the presence of Mutt Committee headed by Shrinivas Dempo and others.
A Mahapooja of Shree Ramdev Veer Vithal was held followed by Mukhyaprana Vigraha Prarhista and other rituals.
CM Pramod Sawant reached the Partagal Jeevottam Mutt after 12 noon and was accompanied by Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar, Social Welfare Minister Subhash Phaldessai, BJP State President Sadanand Tanawade. They took the darshan of Shreemad Vidyadheesh Teerth Swami and sought his blessings.
Fatorda MLA Vijay Sardesai, Vasco MLA Daji Salkar, Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte, PWD Minister Nilesh Cabral, Narendra Savoikar, also visited and took the blessings of Swami.
Congress leader Janardan Bhandari and a host of politicians took part in the rituals and later took the Swami's blessings.
Shreemad Vidyadheesh Teerth Swamiji also had an informal talk with CM Pramod Sawant in the presence of other leaders.
Other high-profile devotees also attended the first Punyatithi Mahotsav of Vidhyadhiraj Tirth Swami Shripad Vader and all other rituals such as Havan Poornahuti, Savatsa Gau Pooja and Ana Satarpana were held in the Mutt.
