“Manohar Parrikar was very close to the people of Salcete. It was at his instance that the indoor stadium was sanctioned in Navelim. Today, we are happy to name the indoor stadium after the former Chief Minister,” he said, adding that the people of

He said the government is committed to bring all-round development of the state, right from Pernem to Canacona, adding that two major infrastructural projects, including the Mopa International airport and the Zuari bridge will be inaugurated by 2022.

“I take this opportunity to seek the cooperation and blessings of the people of Salcete to take the state forward,” he said. The CM showered praises on Benaulim MLA Churchill Alemao for extending his support to the government and thanked Navelim MLA Luizinho

Faleiro for attending the inauguration.
