When the media sough comments from him over the demand of FORCE to meet their demand for an amendment to the Education Act, the Chief Minister evaded a direct reply, saying that those facilities given by the government to the educational institutions will continue. “My government is not in favour of disturbing the present arrangement”, he said.
Asked whether the government will introduce the Bill in the coming session of the Legislative Assembly, Parsekar reminded that the Bill is with the Select Committee, giving indications that the government will act only on the report of the Select Committee.
