Chief Minister Pramod Sawant will celebrate his birthday on Wednesday and will be present at the BJP district office in Mapusa from 5 pm to 8 pm to receive the blessings and wishes of the people.
Addressing a news conference at the party office, North Goa BJP Mandal General Secretary Raj Singh Rane said the chief minister used to meet people on his birthday either in Panaji or Sankhali.
“Due to special requests from the Karyakartas from Mapusa, the chief minister has agreed to meet them in the evening at the North District Office in Mapusa and accept their blessings and the wishes,” said Rane.
Mapusa Municipal Council Chairperson Nutan Bicholkar, Vice Chairperson Sushant Harmalkar and Narayan Mandrekar were also present at the news conference.
