With some of the staff and employees comprising LDCs/Escrivaos not taking up the new postings as per the transfer orders issued by the South Goa Collector, the Administrator of Comunidade, South Goa is believed to have issued notices to four employees to show cause why action should not be initiated against them for disobeying the orders.
Sources in the know informed that the Comunidade Administrator has issued show cause notices on four employees for not taking up the new postings as per the Collector’s order.
Information dished out by the Revenue Minister in the legislative assembly has revealed that some of the LDCs/Escrivaos have been functioning from one office for around 22 years, while three others for 21 years without a transfer.
The information further revealed that the South Goa Collector Asvin Chandru, IAS had issued an order transferring all the 15 employees, LDCs/Escrivaos attached to the office of Administrator of Comunidades, South Goa to new postings.
However, the employees did not take charge of the new postings, and as a result of which the components of comunidades took up the matter with the authorities over the disobedience of the Collector’s transfer order.
