Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho said when drunkards are on the wheels, they are like bombs waiting to explode.
“I was made fun of when I had proposed earlier that people drinking in a bar must be made to go back home by taxis. In fact, I was also ridiculed when I suggested that people must use the app-based taxi to go home after getting drunk in a bar. I had never told bar owners to hire a taxi for every drunk person in the bar. We realise this now. Every drunk person moving out of a bar is like a bomb waiting to kill people on the road.”
