The Gram Sabha of Saligao Panchayat, held on Sunday, concluded in just 12 minutes, with only 38 villagers in attendance. The sarpanch of Saligao Panchayat welcomed the villagers, following which Panchayat Secretary Pravisha Bhonsle read out the minutes of the last Gram Sabha meeting held in October 2024.

Some villagers pointed out that streetlights near the cemetery are not working, while others requested the panchayat to clean drains and nullahs. Concerns were also raised about the poor condition of some roads, with requests for them to be repaired and resurfaced.    Sarpanch Lucas Remedios assured the villagers that issues raised would be addressed.
