Slamming what it alleged to be the “backdoor entry” of Sunburn organisers into Goa, despite having not cleared out their dues with the government, the Congress
on Saturday asked who was behind Sunburn Klassique, to be held at Vagator in
February.
“Is it the defaulter making money behind a Goan face?” asked spokesperson Agnelo Fernandes. “Again, maybe suitcases are changing hands,” he said, adding that an EDM festival was welcome in Goa in the face of the declining number of tourists, as long as no defaulters were making money. Fernandes said it was “okay” if it was a Goan who was making money, but that the same would have to be clarified.
