Speaking to mediapersons, spokesperson Agnelo Fernandes said, “In the last four and half years, the state of law and order in Goa has been at an all-time low. The police morale has also hit an
all-time low.”
Fernandes, along with fellow spokesperson Sunil Kawtankar, referred to the case against Chief Minister’s brother-in-law, as well as the attack on Colvale jail inmate.
“There is a serious and organised crime happening in the state today. How is it that the chief minister is claiming there is no matka centre when it is known to be the biggest black money income generator?” said Kawtankar. In comparison to Ravi Naik’s tenure in power, they claimed today the situation was manifold worse.
