It is indeed ironic that the Congress which has always been supported and voted for by the Christian community in Goa is today targeting the very community that was its backbone all these years just to cover up their sins of commission and omission said Aam Aadmi Party.
AAP leader Capt Venzy Viegas castigated Congress and Royla Fernandes in particular for claiming that the mesta (carpenter) and Vishwakarma communities are not OBC when in reality there are notifications specifying this.
“It is really surprising that to win an election Royla stoops to the level of claiming that an entire community is lying and is now trying to deny the benefits of being an OBC to the mesta community,” Capt Venzy said.
