Congress has slammed the ruling party BJP over the use of photos of Chief Minsiter Pramod Sawant and Health Minister Vishwajit Rane on the ‘Home Isolation Monitoring Kit’ launched by the State government on Friday.
“The real face of publicity obsessed BJP government is exposed once again. The party with a difference has a single point agenda of making business from people’s sickness,” Goa Congress General Secretary Amarnath Panjikar alleged.
He expressed shock at the use of images of Sawant and Rane on Covid-19 ‘Home Isolation Monitoring Kits.’
“We pray to god to bless each and every Goan with good health and to keep all Goemkars away from these isolation kits. These photos of CM Sawant and Rane without masks on the kits has unmasked the real face of BJP,” charged Amarnath Panjikar.
Congress accused the BJP government of grabbing every opportunity to make fortunes and seek publicity from the pandemic. “Instead of helping people by creating healthcare facilities, Health Minister Rane and CM Sawant were busy looting the state coffers along with all other ministers,” Panjikar alleged.
